Selby bassoon reeds are made out of Glotin reed cane,
profiled by a profiler and tip finisher, and then hand scraped for increased flexibility and quality of sound. They are bound
using two colours (light blue and dark blue) for a stripy effect and coated in cellulose dope for a secure and shiny binding.
The reeds allow for a flexible dynamic range throughout all areas of the instrument with a lovely tone quality. They are affordable
and suitable for players of all ages and standards.
